Hoppas det nya året har börjat bra. Känns skönt att säga hej då till julen och välkomna januari och förhoppningsvis lite snö snart. Eftersom många fortfarande är lediga så tänkte vi att det kunde passa bra med lite frukostinspiration. En söndagsfrukost ska innehålla allt man tycker är gott och sedan ätas tillsammans med de man tycker om riktigt länge. Det gjorde vi förra söndagen hemma hos Matilda tillsammans med vår vän Tove. Vi bjöd på fröknäckebröd, hemmapressad citrusjuice, yoghurt med honung, kokt ägg och te.

Fröknäckebröd
60 min, 160 grader

1/2 dl pumpakärnor
3 dl solrosfrön
1 dl linfrön
3 dl sesamfrön
4 dl majsmjöl
1 dl rapsolja
4 dl kokande vatten
1 tsk salt

Blanda alla ingredienser och rör sist i det kokande vattnet.  Dela upp smeten på två bakpappersklädda plåtar. Lägg över ett bakplåtspapper och kavla ut smeten jämnt över plåten. Strö över flingsalt. Grädda i mitten av ugnen i ca 60 min.

 


Hope the New Year started out well! We’ve said goodbye to Christmas and are welcoming January, and hopefully soon even some snow. Since alot of you are still on vacation we wanted to give you all some breakfast inspiration.
A Sunday breakfast should contain all that you enjoy to eat and be eaten with those you enjoy spending time with. This is exactly what we did last Sunday at Matilda’s place with our friend Tove. The menu was crispbread with seeds, home-squeezed citrus juice, yoghurt with honey, boiled eggs and tea.

Crispbread with Seeds

60 minutes, 160 degrees

0.6 cup pumpkin seeds
1.3 cups sunflower seeds
0.4 cup flax seeds
1.3 cup sesame seeds
1.7 cups cornmeal
0.4 cups rapeseed oil
1.7 cups boiling water
1 teaspoon salt

Mix the seeds in a bowl. Then pour over the rapeseed oil and the boiling water while stirring. Divide the batter onto two baking sheets with parchment paper on. Roll out the batter in an even layer. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake in center of the oven for approximately 60 minutes.
