Vad som skulle vara något helt annat slutade med att bli något avskalat och kanske mer passande för vårt kalla och mörka nordiska klimat just nu. Så det var kanske tur att torget ekade ovanligt tomt den där söndagen.

Gröna blad och färgglada blommor byttes ut till torra och för länge sedan döda växter. Och i stället för vackra vaser blev det rena och enkla glasflaskor.

I stället för vår blev det vinter. Och det är ju just vad det är i februari. Var säsong har sin tid.

What was meant to be something entirely different, ended up becoming something unadorned and perhaps more suitable for our cold and dark northern climate right now. So maybe it was lucky that the market square echoed unusually empty that Sunday.

Green leaves and colorful flowers were replaced with dry and long since dead plants from the garden. And instead of beautiful vases, they ended up in pure and simple glass bottles.

Instead of spring it became winter. And that is precisely what it is in February. Each season has its time.
